Patient Rights
Every individual who applies to our Hospital for diagnosis and treatment can follow the rights supervised by our department and written in this text at every stage:
Right to Benefit from Services:
Every individual who applies to our hospital has the right to benefit from the existing diagnostic and treatment facilities, regardless of their physical, intellectual and social characteristics.
The patient has the right to choose the doctor and / or health institution and to change at any stage of treatment.
Right to Respect and Dignity:
The patient always has the right to be treated in a respectful, kind, compassionate and friendly environment by protecting his/her individual reputation.
He/she has the right to receive a health service where all kinds of hygienic conditions are provided and all noisy and disturbing factors are eliminated.
Right to Privacy:
The patient has the right to receive all kinds of health services in an environment suitable for confidentiality. He/she can explicitly request the protection of his/her privacy. All kinds of medical interventions are carried out by respecting the patient's privacy.
Right to Request Information:
The patient has the right to learn what health services and facilities are available and to request all kinds of information about his/her health status.
To choose and change the health institution and its personnel:
The patient has the right to choose and change the health institution and to benefit from the health services provided in the health institution of his/her choice, to learn the identities, duties and titles of the physicians and other health professionals who will provide health services.
Right to Examine Records and Confidentiality of Information:
The patient may examine the file and records containing information about his/her health status directly or by proxy and may take a copy of them. These records can only be seen by those directly related to the patient's treatment.
They have the right to receive all kinds of health services in a confidential environment.
Refusal, cessation and consent:
The right to refuse treatment, to request its cessation, to consent to medical interventions and to benefit from the service within the framework of consent.
No one shall be subjected to any medical intervention for the purposes of experimentation, research or education without his/her consent.
Right to Benefit from Religious Services:
Necessary measures are taken for patients to fulfil their religious obligations freely within the means of our hospital.
Right to Visit and Have a Companion:
The acceptance of patient visitors is carried out in accordance with the procedures and principles determined by our Hospital and in a way that will not cause acts and attitudes that will disturb the peace and tranquility of the patients and necessary measures are taken in this regard.
In order to assist the patient during the examination and treatment; to the extent permitted by the legislation and Hospital facilities and required by the patient's health condition, the patient may be asked to have a companion, depending on the approval of the physician responsible for the treatment.
