In our Paediatric Endocrinology Department, the following diseases are treated in the neonatal, child and adolescent age group;

Short stature
Growth problems
Excessively long stature
Thyroid diseases (goitre, thyroid nodule, under or overactive thyroid gland)
Diabetes (diabetes mellitus),
Disorders of salt and water metabolism (diabetes insipitus)
Early puberty (precocious puberty)
Delay in puberty,
Menstrual irregularities, inability to menstruate
Gender ambiguities,
Bone metabolism disorders (osteoporosis, bone anomalies, calcium metabolism disorders, parathyroid gland disorders)
Obesity (obesity)
Adrenal gland diseases (under or over functioning)
Excessive hair growth or absence of hair growth
Genital problems in the male sex (undescended testicle, small or oversized penis)
Genital problems in the female sex (ovarian or external genitalia)
Endocrine problems of the neonatal period (thyroid function disorders, congenital adrenal hyperplasia)
